Ito, a serious student, and Nishi, a child-like spirit, meet by chance one day as they both try to stay on the sidewalk’s white line. Over time, Ito realizes he has feelings for Nishi, and after a kiss, Nishi agrees they should walk side by side. Their relationship deepens through high school, survives college, and matures into adulthood, exploring how love endures despite life’s inevitable changes.
