After bailing out of a grinding office job in Tokyo, 29-year-old Minato Akira has returned to his hometown and taken over his grandfather’s laundromat. The laundromat is a popular meeting point for people from all over town and Akira is happy in his peaceful new life. One day, Akira is drawn into conversation with a new customer, senior high-school student Katsuki Shintaro, whose handsome appearance he cannot help noticing. Despite the difference in age, the two quickly become friends. Then, in an unguarded moment Akira reveals that he is gay.
