Tojo Suzume, who has been single for over 10 years and spends his days just going back and forth between his office and home, realizes that there are only three months left until his 40th birthday. Suzume makes a list of “10 things I want to do before I’m 40” due to the sudden sense of impatience he feels at the turning point of his life. “Takoyaki party,” “Change your taste in clothes,” “Find a lover…” However, the list is accidentally seen by Tanaka Keiji, a handsome junior subordinate!
However, at Keiji’s suggestion, the two decide to fulfill the list together. Their mundane days change into fun days spent together. And they become “special people” that transcend the relationship of boss and subordinate and the age difference. This is a fascinating story about the slowly closing distance between the two and the love story of an adult who falls in love for the first time in a long time!
