Shido Academy High School, a secluded all-boys boarding school built on a mountainside. Second-year student Hayama Takumi becomes roommates with Saki Giichi, nicknamed Gii, drawing jealous and hostile stares from other students.
In reality, Takumi and Gii are secretly lovers. While Takumi feels happiness, deep inside, he can’t shake the fear that “if I reveal everything about myself, he might come to hate me.” Gii, meanwhile, struggles with the pain of being so close yet unable to openly touch him, gradually losing sight of Takumi’s true feelings. Matters worsen when a persistent third-year, Nozaki, begins pressing in on Takumi, fueling Gii’s jealousy and frustration.
Within Shido Academy, many emotions quietly intertwine. Yoshizawa Michio, who shares a room with Takabayashi Izumi, the school’s Madonna-like figure, hides unspoken feelings for him. First-year Shigyoji Kanemitsu is deeply drawn to senior Misuzu Arata, whom he met during the entrance exam, though he is constantly met with coldness. And Akaike Shozo, a friend of Takumi and Gii, finds himself the quiet recipient of affections from upperclassman Shibata Shun…
